From plant to jar – 100% handmade
Each of our products is a unique piece, born of pure handmade work and genuine passion. On our farm, young farmer Patrick and his girlfriend Jana personally take care of each individual plant – from the first seedling through to the harvest. We avoid large machines and instead rely on careful manual labor. Even processing is done in small batches to maintain freshness and top quality. Each jam and each syrup is made with the utmost care and is finally bottled and labeled by hand.
Our berries are carefully selected: only the best fruits make it into our jars. With a fruit content of 70%, our fruit spreads offer an intense aroma. To preserve their bright color and full flavor, we always process our fruits as fresh as possible.
The ingredients for our syrups also come directly from nature and our farm: we gather elderflowers from wild-growing shrubs on the farm, pick dandelion flowers from our untouched meadows, and basil and mint leaves grow in our own garden.
The result: unique specialties with genuine flavor – homemade, natural and full of passion.
Sustainable berry cultivation
In harmony with nature
For us, the care of every fruit comes first: each berry is carefully hand-picked and processed with care. Instead of using plastic mulch film, we rely on reduced-plastic methods and remove weeds from our currant and raspberry plants by hand two or three times a year. We deliberately avoid chemical fertilizers and use the naturally aged cow manure from our own animals – complemented by sheep’s wool, which acts as a natural weed barrier and organic fertilizer.
Innovative into the future
From 2025/2026, we are increasingly relying on sustainable methods: by using the first beneficial insects from Koppert, we reduce the need for plant protection products and thus naturally promote the health of our plants. Our cultivation is carried out according to the strict Global G.A.P. guidelines and is accompanied by the EGMA fruit auction in Vilpian.
The result is an unadulterated, natural delight – straight from Ausser Brugghof.
Our successes
The Alpine Food Contest ALP’24 in Stans (Switzerland) is a renowned competition where producers from the entire European Alpine region present their specialties. Only the best handcrafted products are awarded here – a special recognition for quality, flavor, and regional authenticity.
Our products convinced the jury and were awarded:
Silver medal for our strawberry and raspberry fruit spread – fruity, intense and long-lasting aromas.
Gold & “Excellence” medal for our red basil syrup – an exclusive specialty in limited edition design.

Roter Hahn
Our specialties carry the “Roter Hahn” quality seal, which stands for authentic, handmade farm products from South Tyrol. This seal guarantees that our products are made according to strict criteria – with regional ingredients, traditional handcrafted methods and the utmost care.
The majority of our products meet these high standards: at least 75% of the raw materials come directly from our farm, and all ingredients are free of GMOs. The entire processing – from the fruit spread to the syrup – takes place on our farm through pure handcraft. We also rely on gentle preservation methods to preserve natural flavor and valuable nutrients.
Every product bearing the “Roter Hahn” seal has also successfully passed an annual blind tasting by experts – a sign of true quality and genuine enjoyment.
